The training of Dr. Grace under Dr. Red emphasized  the use of minimally invasive surgical procedures to cause less pain, discomfort, and hours lost at hour.  Except for major cases, most procedures can be done under local anaesthesia, or spinal, and at his clinic (no need for a hospital OR)

RF Ellman Surgitron

His instrument of choice is the Ullman RF Ellman Surgitron which is less invasive/destructive compared  to YAG laser.  Penioraphy (hymenioplasty) can last up to 30 minutes minimal.  The advantage with Dr. Red procedure is that it  is not only the outer portal of the V is tightened but the entire vaginal canal

Other procedures:   vaginaplasty, labiaplsty (both minora and majora) takes about 60 minutes at the OR;

Clitoral hood reduction and hymneoplasty takes about 30 minutes to perform  At the clitoral hood reduction, the clitoris is never mutilated and the surgeon is careful not to touch nor damage the nerves.  There is no mutilation involved.

Lasers like CO@ have used to ablate lesions like warts and other precancerous growth.  But the effect has been tightened  and smoother skin.  The use of CO2 lasers since 1986 has been popular is an excellent tool for skin resurfacing.

Other types:

1.  Fractional or  Fraxel type -  can regenerate collagen, reduce scarring,  smoothen skin without the down time.

2.  IR or deepheat (can be rf) can reduce sagging, and tighten skin and takes about 15 minutes under local anaesthesia.

Pelvic repair



This is the starting specialty of Dr. Red and this is where he branched off into vaginal aesthetics, as the same is requested as he does pelvic repair:   prolapse recturm, (rectpcelle) or the bladder (cystocelle or enterocelle)

This is quite delicate because the walls of the pelvis muscle have been herniated, and when used to support sagging organs, more bulge can result.  Thus the use of slings, polyprene slings does the trick.  The could be TOT or TVT (Tension free) with the tape above the pubic bone Transburator tape above the crease of the thigh.



This calls for a donor tissue and the mesh.  The success rate has been 90 % and the procedure can be done in 60 minutes under general local  regional anaesthesia at the OR.   Most insurance companies in US cover this procedure.
